”Valerie created a space where the vulnerability felt safe, so I took off all the masks and surrender, letting go was easier then ever before and as I was walking through this moon landscape I embraced the sensation of becoming lighter, leaving all the fears and shame and creating the space for self love and acceptance.
She called it rebirth and it felt like one.”
I was hiking up the volcanic landscape with a group of people I had met a year before in Tenerife. We all felt a deep connection to this place, and each other. A bond that brought us back together to this moment.
As we hiked higher into the volcanic landscape, the trees faded away, revealing the raw, rugged remains of past volcano eruptions. It was then that Hania turned to me and said, “There’s something about this place that makes me want to walk barefoot, to strip away everything and just be.”
“Let’s do it,” I said, suddenly filled with a rush of inspiration. I felt inspired to capture the energy Hania described.
For a moment, we hesitated, questioning, “Should we really do this now?” But as soon as we let go of that doubt, it felt as though all thoughts vanished. We moved in sync with the energy that moved us, an energy that felt healing, something we only fully understood when we looked back at what we had created.

I have a strange relation with my body, I work hard on appreciating and accepting it fully, I guess I like it but I still don't feel really confident with myself and then suddenly with you it felt like the most natural thing to do... you have an amazing gift of seeing people how they really are and creating a safe space where they can be vulnerable and truly themselves ❤ you helped me open more, Valerie, thank you for this ❤❤❤ I am so happy we all have reunited again, this connection is pure magic. can't wait to see the photos! sending you today's sun, love you 🙏🏿"
